For thousands of years man has experienced height with a sense of awe and admiration, since it rose in supremacy above him and stirred his innermost yearning of ascending to the world's third dimension. The primordial desire was fulfilled with the help of technology. Helicopters have offered and continue to offer the opportunity of a peaceful observance of the earth above. The photos included in this album were taken during a similar observation flight, and they put each reader in the seat of the flying photographer, sharing with him an ex altis view of the Greek landscape.
