Travelling along the pathways of the East I met many people and learnt a lot about their komboloia. Inexplicable powers led me to hidden workshops and secret encounters.
Buddhists, Hindus, Moslems, Catholics, Orthodox Monks. A vast number of people with prayer-komboloi in hand, counting the prayers to their Gods, on a circle...
But the secret hidden by the beads of the komboloi did not lie there. The secret of the power that makes it such a special, inseparable companion in the life of many people.
