Exploring English 4 provides study material for two lessons a week over a period of twenty-six weeks.
Its key features are:
-Reading texts: each topic-based unit presents various aspects of that topic, explored through texts of different style. Extensive use of dialogues allows for the presentation of authentic, situational English. Contemporary issues and the real-life themes dealt with are also relevant to examinations such as the First Certificate in English.
-Grammar: coverage of grammatical phenomena and functions is simple but thorough. It is always fully exploited in context, through interesting and appropriate activities that enable students to apply with confidence what they've learnt. Many of the activities follow the FCE Use of English format.
