The water nymph and the veil
Περιγραφή
A young man obliges a water-nymph to follow him home and become his bride by refusing to give back her veil. They raise a family together, but she never stops longing for the shady rivers of her youth and begs to have her veil returned so she can fade into the wind and disappear. Eventually her husband grants her wish, but not until he loves her more than any man has ever loved.
